After losing her mother, and with the family on hard financial times, a shy 9-year-old Lucille sets off with her father to their ancestral home in Peaceable, Texas. Lucille quickly learns that the unique history of the town has more to do with the present than anyone knows and that if she isn’t careful, she will become the latest missing person in a series of vanishings that have haunted Peaceable for over 200 years.
